Supacut is not a video editor. It does not replace Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. It helps you get to an editable first assembly from interview material. You finish the film in the NLE you already use.

Export currently supports XML for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and FCPXML for Final Cut Pro. Avid export is not available yet.

The waitlist collects your name, company, and email so we can notify you at launch. It is not a purchase, a reservation of a license, or a guaranteed ship date. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is stored.

The desktop app is offered as a one-time purchase at $27. Updates are not included in that purchase. Each update costs $3, and we typically ship one every three to four months.

You buy Supacut once and use your own API key for AI features. You pay the provider behind that key for what you use. There is no monthly credit plan from us.

The software reads your footage and transcripts and writes a sequence file. It does not modify original media. Do not redistribute installer files. You are responsible for having the rights to the media and transcripts you process.

The tools at /tools/ analyze transcript text you paste in the browser. They are provided as-is, without a warranty that the output is complete, accurate, or fit for a particular edit. You must have the right to submit that text. We do not claim ownership of the transcripts you paste or of the analysis returned to you.

The blog, comparison pages, and marketing copy on this site are provided for information. They are not a substitute for professional editorial judgment. You may link to public pages. You may not scrape the tools or copy the site in a way that competes with or impersonates Supacut.

The site, the free tools, and the desktop app are provided without warranties of any kind, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-assisted output will match what you would have cut yourself. Editorial decisions remain yours.

We may update these terms by changing this page and the date above. The About page describes what Supacut is. The Privacy Policy describes the data we collect.
